TM4 WK2 Writing

Should I do it? Do I do it? Is it safe? As I gaze at her plummeting down the  step and deadly hill thumping like a elephant. I freeze. I see her fall off. I slowly suck my stomach in and go in the line shaking. The trees stare into the distance. Like a fish's eye. OH NO. I realise it's my turn…😟😟😟

Tm4! WK1 Writing

Are you sure? cause it's raining. We were going to bike to the glittering pools on our bikes but it was raining as hard as a rock. Suddenly it stopped. I sobbed I was disappointed. So we got on our bikes and then we were gone.

Just as we biked up the baby hill it began spitting. Drops of water started dancing down from my eyes to my checks. that wasn't rainwater. 😢 I Was Once again disappointed. The sad part was it didn't stop raining. We biked up and down and up and down. We biked a bus stop and the paint was so sloppy. I nearly fell on my bike .Instead I fell on my bike in town.  I was not feeling so good after that. When we got to the pools , for a swim but i didn't want to go there for nothing!

When i got back i wasn't in a pleasant mood but it was worth it!😉

Showcase

yesterday we had a showcase we learnt many things. I was really afraid when the lights turned on and we were on the stage. I had goosebumps but i did it. I was really proud of myself. here are  some pictures of the big night!  -__-

Today we went on a trip to see the countryside of te awamutu we learnt all about rewi maniako and went to a church to learn about him. we got to dress up  in old costumes here are some photos of our amazing day!!!!! -____-

Hockey Lessons

Wk 8 writing

Soft silky hair flows back. Diamond eyes sparkle. Seeing a beautiful face threo the reflection off the water. Brown bouncy eyelashes. Floating hair. Pale white skin. Ears twitch. Straight long hair. I wonder what color her hair is.

statue Challange

Today we tried to make a statue. We did a design at first we thought it was easy but our ideas we kinda went more down then up the strength wasn't to great. The concept was to build the tallest tower we turned up using a lot and i mean a lot of tape. a lot of people succeeded that was great but we were not winning.

Reading Contract T2 Wk1

Our topic of inquiry this term is inventions & creators, so our reading is all about this. I will be completing one page per day.

Museum Visit

Today we went to the museum, I learnt that Uenuku is the rainbow and that the carved statue is 500 years old!. To make the statue they would use a special rock. We learnt that the statue was hid because there were wars then thy found it and gave it to the te awamutu  museum before we left w4e write down what we want to be when we were older i said a Rockstar. Then we left.

Firefighters!

Today firefighters came for a interview I liked the advice to even if your parents say that you can't do it just  keep on trying (example) if your parents  say that you can't be a inventor just keep on trying.

MAD MOOD

“No!” As I stopped to my messy uncontrollable room Mum shouted at my I didn't even talk… The next day I crashed down the hallway for some breakfast. I had flame in my eyes, steaming ears and a Red face. After I played in my room. As I came out I had a grin on my face…

Light party

1. Yellow shiny popcorn gaze at me I gazed back. The popcorn yells at me as I put one in my mouth. I get lost in the tremendous crowd, everyone enters the stage I stare at the big line and the people getting spined around, going down and down I run to the line.

2. I was in the line I felt like my arms weren't there. I slowly get closer and closer seeing everybody  scream. I’m scared that when it is my turn I would fall off and die! I got a card. I beat this is a card that I am up next. YES!!! I always wanted to go on this ride.

3. As I enter the mysterious  ride I clossly star at the wobbly  line. The little seats look like push chairs we hope on. As the man lock us in the seats start moving up and down and higher and higher till it was like i was flying then it stopped and went down whooooo!!!! “That was a fun ride!”

😃

A Red, round, soft and squishy. Mini seeds waiting to be eaten. I slowly open my mouth and shut my mouth. And then SOUR! My eyes water. The seeds bounces around my mouth. I slowly taste it taste is incredible.

Kapa Haka Festival

We were quietly waiting, the time had come. We were at the big stadium. My heart was racing. I know from the bottom of my heart i would fail, I just know it! We start to enter the stage…

As we enter the stage, everyone was clapping Then suddenly stop. We start of the first song, then another Then again 2+. Then the soft poi that was the less song I Know. Then suddenly I was out of tone. My cheeks tunned Red. It was good that that was the last song.

We all left the stage there was only one thing I mumbled  to myself. I Knew that I would mess up.
